Annual Well Production Search

New York State requires the filing of an Annual Well Report by March 31st for activity during the previous calendar year, including gas or oil production. This data is held confidential until July 1 of the subsequent year.

Production and well status information is currently available from calendar year 1985 to the most recent year. As time allows, DEC's Division of Mineral Resources will offer older production data. To see details on a particular well’s oil, gas and water production, you must click on the API Well Number in the first search results table.

Information presented on this page comes from the Annual Well Reports submitted by well operators. This search shows production and well status information for the year 1985 to the most recent year. As time allows, the DEC will offer older production data. The data shown in the upper box is the most current information we have in our database. The lower grid reflects historic data.
