Description
This rain garden is an example of green infrastructure in a village park. It is situated on a hillside near the entrance to Ashford Park. Although it is small, it functions to retain runoff and concomitant sediment during rainstorms. Since its installation, the sidewalk, located downhill and to the east of the rain garden, has had far less mud covering it following storms.
