Description

The City of Kingston, NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, and Callanan Industries worked together on this Environmental Benefit project to replace existing asphalt with new porous asphalt, the first for the City of Kingston. This project greatly improved stormwater runoff in the area and allowed for additional parking at the Forsyth Nature Center. This project is used as a teaching tool by Kingston’s environmental education staff.
